Uploads and file storage

To get to your uploads, go to your profile and click the upload icon or go directly to your uploads page.

Welcome to the sleek and simple uploads feature of Free2Z! This feature allows you to easily and securely store, share, and access files of any type, up to 100 megabytes per upload. With the ability to drag and drop files and upload multiple files at once, you can quickly and easily add your files to your storage.

How to Upload an Image into a zPage​

  1. Create a new zPage by hitting the + button in the top navigation bar while logged in.
  2. Scroll down to the text editor box.
  3. In the top navigation bar of the editor, at the far right-hand corner there is an arrow icon. Tap on the arrow to upload an image, or press ctrl + u on your keyboard.

  1. Select an image from the folder or location of your choice.
  2. The image will now be added to your media library and a link to the image autoembedded in the zPage.
  3. Hit the save button and check the publish box to publish your changes with the uploaded image.

Access Control​

Your files can be set to one of three access levels: "public," "private," or "members-only." Public files are accessible to anyone, private files are only accessible to you, and members-only files are accessible to subscribers of the creator of the files. This simple access control feature allows you to easily share your files with the appropriate audience and offer exclusive content to your subscribed fans.

How Private is Private?​

When you set a file to "private" access, it is only accessible to you, the owner of the file. However, it is important to note that Free2Z administrators and the cloud storage provider may have access to your files. Additionally, your files are not currently end-to-end encrypted and may be subject to censorship or legal action. Don't upload anything bad.

Storage Options​

The well-architected Free2Z storage system can be used as a content delivery network (CDN), a private file store, or as a feature to reward your subscribed fans. You get one gigabyte of storage for free, and each additional gigabyte can be purchased for 10 2Zs (in-app currency).
