Zcash feeds venezuelan families for Christmas
Greetings, Zcashers!
It's a pleasure for me to greet the Zcash community that is always active.
Do you remember my campaign last year that I did for the Las Tejerías catastrophe?
It was a successful campaign in which we were able to help 4 affected families, giving them food for the Christmas season.
This year we wanted to continue with the same tone of bringing joy to families in Venezuela, in my town, who unfortunately in these times have nothing to buy and have a decent Christmas.
That is why we have devised the Merry Christmas with Zcash campaign, in which our goal is to raise money to cover the Christmas food for at least 10 families.
In Venezuela, unfortunately, there is still a marked economic, political and social crisis, which is why more and more people are leaving the country.
But the reality is that there are still many families in the country who, although they have a job, the minimum wage (4 USD per month) does not allow them to afford such basic things as buying the products for a decent Christmas dinner.
That is why, as last year, and in other campaigns I have organized, I rely on the solidarity and goodwill of the global Zcash community that is supportive, empathetic and always supports and collaborates in such initiatives.

Aura Brito and I, Roosevelt Gordones, who are active members of the Zcash en Español community, moderators of Zcast, and enthusiasts of the education and dissemination of financial privacy proposed by Zcash, are responsible for the administration of the proceeds, purchase and delivery of the food.
Through this channel (through the comments of this Zpage) we will be sharing the update of this campaign, so that it is totally transparent, and we can achieve this goal that makes us very excited.
In advance, we appreciate the active participation of all those who make their donations and help us to spread this initiative, which demonstrates once again the decentralized power, free of censorship and bureaucracy that Zcash has for this type of causes.
