Delete your account

Delete your Free2Z account yourself at free2z.cash/account/delete. You do not need an email address. The same page is linked from Settings → Account and from Connected apps, and apps that use Free2Z sign-in link to it too.

Steps​

  1. Open free2z.cash/account/delete and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Check what the page says this account will lose.
  3. Type your username and choose Delete account. If you signed in more than five minutes ago, sign in again first, with your password, provider or wallet.

Your account is hidden right away and you are signed out everywhere. It is deleted 30 days later. If you sign in before then, you are asked whether to keep your account; keeping it cancels the deletion. Apps you had connected will ask you to connect again. If your account has a confirmed email, we tell you when a deletion is cancelled, and Settings → Account shows the date.

If you publish pages, download a copy first from Your pages in your dashboard.

What is deleted​

  • Your profile: name, bio, avatar, banner and payment address. Your username stays reserved for 30 days after the deletion (about 60 days after you ask), then anyone can use it.
  • Your email address, password and every sign-in method: Google, GitHub and X sign-in, Zcash wallet sign-in, passkeys and two-factor authentication.
  • Your sessions: you are signed out on every device.
  • Access for every connected app. Their tokens stop working at once.
  • Your pages, series, uploads, AI conversations, stories, message requests, follows, blocks and mutes. Stored files are deleted; copies can stay in caches for up to 24 hours.
  • Your comments. If someone replied to one, its text is removed so their reply stays.

What is kept​

Some records must stay for legal, tax and accounting reasons. They are kept without your profile, attached only to an internal account number:

  • The 2Z credit ledger, including any remaining balance. Remaining credits can no longer be used.
  • Purchases, paid memberships, payment and payout records, and on-chain transactions.
  • Identity verification and tax forms, if you submitted them.
  • A page that Zcash payment records refer to stays hidden instead of being deleted.
  • Content under review after a report is kept hidden until the review ends.

Finish or cancel any purchase in progress before you delete: credits that arrive afterwards cannot be used.

When the page cannot delete your account​

  • Creator earnings are still owed to you. Email help@free2z.com to receive them first. If earnings become owed during the 30 days, the deletion waits until support has paid them.
  • You own an app that other people use. Email help@free2z.com to retire it first.
  • It is a staff account. Another admin needs to remove its staff access first.
