Zcash vs HEX

Many people that have taken my advice concerning buying ZEC and creating a PulseChain portfolio, are asking whether they should liquidate their portfolios in order to buy more ZEC. If your Zcash stash is worth more than your PulseChain portfolio, I'd recommend to simply leave your PulseChain portfolio whole for now. On the other hand, if your PulseChain portfolio is worth more than your ZEC stack, then I'd consider taking some value from your PulseChain portfolio to buy ZEC.

Currently the fiat monetary systems, such as USD, have two intermingled systems: physical and digital. In my opinion, Zcash is the upgrade for the physical (cash); while HEX is the upgrade for the digital. The USD has all of the digital stuff that is easily traceable and is used by banks and government to decide on monetary policies. On the other hand, the USD also has the physical cash stuff that is relatively untraceable. Regardless of their different forms, they both have the same basic financial policies governing their purchasing power, so both can be debased through digital or physical printing. In other words, if the government prints an extra Trillion of digital USD, then the physical cash is also impacted with loss of purchasing power. Also with physical cash, the government can at anytime decide that physical cash bills are invalid and must be turned in to get digital credit.

Zcash and HEX can't be debased by the governments as their financial policies are locked in their code, so both are better than the current system. But, as many people have lost trust in their government; having the world reserve currency in a private currency, such as ZEC, wouldn't help the trust situation. Also because Zcash inflation will continually get lower, it wouldn't be an ideal replacement for a system that has consistently strived for 2-3% inflation for decades. As HEX inflation is 3.69% every year, no matter what, it's more suited as a replacement for fiat currencies. Also, HEX is the only cryptocurrency with a chart for the future liquid supply which should help with advanced financial planning.

In conclusion, I still recommend maintaining a PulseChain portfolio with HEX, PLS, PLSX, and INC; as I think HEX is destined to become the next level stablecoin. Unlike current stablecoins such as USDC, HEX can be a stablecoin that has stable purchasing power and not just a stable value relative to a hyper-inflationary fiat experiment (USD). As some governments might decide to use HEX on Ethereum instead of HEX on PulseChain, I also recommend having a stash of eHEX, or HEX on Ethereum. In addition as Zcash is basically a more useful form of BTC with an amazing roadmap, I still recommend everyone have at least 1 ZEC for the longterm bet at surpassing the BTC price.
