Why we want them: To keep improving our content and teaching people how to use their computers and how to craft paper art, and to keep spreading the word about zCash an Free2z in our country and communities.

First, We decided to lower the amount of ZEC needed, as we found we could get a couple of more affordable, equally powerful devices por a little less money, and I want to be completely honest with you.
Second, Thanks to the support of this awesome community, we've reached 5 of our 12 ZEC goal! We're almost there! I've already found the person I will donate my device to, and I'll make sure I teach him everything I know about Zcash and Free2z. My wife's device is not in such a good shape, but we'll find a good use for it.

Hi, I'm Alexis, a Journalist, IT Assistant and Content Creator from San Juan de los Morros, Venezuela. My partner, Elizabeth is also a Journalist, Content Creator and entrepreneur from the same city. We have a Kid, Andrés Santiago, who has become our fuel to keep pushing forward through our country's troubled economy.
In order to meet our budget, we started our own businesses away from Journalism. She is a crafter, making custom papercraft for birthdays, weddings and any special occasion.
She's an artist, I have to say, without any other special gadget than an inkjet printer, her old Core i5 computer and a cutting blade, she manages to craft beautiful, amazing designs.
I'm not that crafty, so I stood closer to my profession launching my own blog and podcast, which eventually started to pay some bills, and openend my own business, selling office supplies, small tech consumables and printing and copying documents.
I also repair computers and teach people how to use their Operative Systems as a way to make more money.

But we always wanted to have our own Youtube and Instagram accounts to share with the public what we had to offer. I share my knolewge in comsumer tech and podcasting, reviewing small gadgets I buy or sharing internet and computer tips and advices. She shares crafting tutorials that teaches her public how to create wonderful stuff using only PowerPoint and a pair of scissors. You can check a couple of videos from our channels below:
Yeah, those were both recorded with a Umidigi A3s and a Motorola Moto E6 play, respectively. This is where we need your help.
I had the blessing of being able to buy Elizabeth a budget smartphone a couple years ago, a device with 2GBs RAM and a decent Mediatek processor. Later, my Redmi phone died on me and I had no money, so my mother gave me a discrete Moto E6 play, so I could stay connected.
But they just can't keep up! We can't edit an Instagram video without our devices simply crashing or rebooting, ending up with a black screen where a Reel should play, and we're stuck. We cant post youtube shorts without spending several minutes waiting for our devices to react.
We can't record decent audio or video because our phones don't have enough power to keep up with the latest apps: Capcut, InShot, even audio recorders start to freeze and force close because our devices can't handle such work load.
Our $10 lavalier microphone is not 100% compatible with our phones, so it's another challenge to record material for our channels or Social Media.
We can't even use our ZCash Wallets to fund our zpages or make any payments with zCash because 2GBs RAM are not enough to run our wallets, which keep crashing on us.
So, how can you help?
We would like to renew our devices so we can create better content for our community and improve the quality of our work, which will of course help us bring home a higher income to raise our kid and keep growing.
Sadly, right now we can't afford buying them ourselves, like I could some years ago, and we've found ourselves stuck because of that.
Our smartphones have become an important tool in our work. Organizing our finances and agendas, keeping up with clients, creating our portfolio images, capturing and editing the audio for our channels and even funding proyects, fundraising campaigns and new writers in Free2z.
What can we give in return?
I've been an active Free2z collaborator, creating articles for the platform, helping test new features and actively supporting various fundraising campaings, I've also brought some users to the Free2z community, including my wife, and have created content to spread the word about the platform.
Recently, I've joined the team of writers for the spanish ZCash website, and I plan to create articles, video and audio to keep promoting the adoption of zCash in Venezuela an other latin american countries.
Having a better device, one that does not crash when using YWallet, editing and uploading video or even making a simple mobile payment will help us improve our content and keep supporting new Free2z creators, and even spread the word about zCash and Free2z with everyone I know, in whatever media format we can. Plus keep sharing with our public new ways to make a better use of their computers or crafting awesome pieces of paper art.
We don't really ask that much, we want to buy two midrange Android Smartphones, with at least 4GBs RAM and decent cameras that can keep the pace and last at least 4 to 5 years, we are sure that rising around 11 ZEC, we can get what we need.
As a plus, I've promised I will donate my current device to someone who needs a smartphone to join this new, digitally connected world, and even the ZCash community, so I can share the love.
