Hello everyone! I know that for a few weeks you have seen me hanging around the Zcash en Español telegram group. Now allow me to introduce myself to the community below:
My name is Andrés Palmar, I am a Venezuelan musician and composer now living in Mexico. Until 2018, music represented 100% of all my activity, but since that year, when I got to know the blockchain and cryptocurrencies, they began to take on a certain relevance in my life to the point where today they represent a large part of all my activity, along with the music, of course...
In 2018 I took my first steps in Steemit but I didn't really understand it and it was complex for me. Then, in 2019, I immersed myself in the EOS ecosystem at the hands of Yoditar who is now an Ambassador of Zcash in Spanish and who I consider my mentor in blockchain.
Since then I have been active in the blockchain ecosystem in general. I have released a collection of NFTs with music called SoundElement. At the same time I have collected NFTs on Ethereum, Polygon and WAX. I have built communities and have been an entrepreneur with various projects to help other artists launch their art on the blockchain.
All this I have balanced with my artistic and musical career outside of the blockchain, touring Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Suriname, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Mexico. At the same time that I direct artistic projects with my music or do collaborations with other artists.
Now, after this brief introduction about my journey in blockchain and music, I want to give you some news:
The news is that I am joining the Zcash community and my purpose is to spread the importance of privacy for artists. This is interesting to me because in fact, artists usually have public profiles and their lives are actually exposed to hundreds, thousands and even millions of people.
My research on Zcash and its value proposition started last year thanks to Yoditar and I have already found some valuable points that we artists should consider.
In my next article I will put the first issue on the table and I hope that you will be here to read and support me.
