We are excited to announce that Zcash Ghana is preparing to host its very first physical meetup in Accra, Ghana’s capital city, on Thursday, July 31st, 2025. This is a significant milestone for us, as it comes just weeks after the official launch of the Zcash Ghana community.
Our community was inspired to take this bold step following the overwhelming success of our maiden X-Space event titled "Financial Privacy and the Power of Zcash: Why it Matters for Africa," which drew an impressive 212 participants. This strong turnout is a clear indication of the growing interest in Zcash and the pressing need for financial privacy solutions in Africa. Why We Are Crowdfunding
As a newly established community, we currently have no financial backing or grant support. To make this important meetup a reality, we are turning to the Zcash ecosystem and privacy advocates like you for support.
We believe that grassroots, community-driven efforts are essential to the growth and adoption of Zcash, especially in regions like Africa where financial inclusion and privacy are deeply needed.
