Before you say it... 🤨

No, I'm not an Apple fan

In fact my PC, is Windows/Linux with multiboot, something that Apple since the arrival of Apple silicon envies, and will continue to envy, likewise my current phone, although a little destroyed after almost 5 years of continuous use, is Android, and I take advantage here to emphasize, that no one will take away the freedom you can have on a smartphone with android, I have a Custom ROM, Custom Kernel, and is that even the boot animation I have changed it. All my life I have hated many things that apple does, their overpriced and exhorbitantly priced equipment, and company policies that violate the privacy of users....

Heavy work jiji

I don't think there's any way to think I'm some Apple fanboy or something jiji.
That sincerely is my humble opinion regarding several things about apple, and I comment on them even and with my android all smashed up that is still putting up a fight after 5 years of heavy lifting 😅

But to all this, honestly there is something I have to admit about apple service that has blown me away, and made me say to myself.... Why if all brands copy each other? WHY DON'T THEY COPY APPLE MUSIC?

And there are really many things that I have loved about this service.

Sound quality 🎧

I declare myself a complete audiophile, I don't like something to sound hard, I'm someone who likes the sound to sound GOOD. Although I don't have money, nor do I have such expensive equipment, I have 2 IEMS headphones, at home that because of their low cost and quality which I like better than even regular Airpods sound great, and I'm mus picky about sound quality, how things sound, if the sound is spatial, ambient etc. I love it when things sound Good.

Currently Apple Music is the only service that has allowed me to take almost 100% advantage of my headphones, and the sound quality, is simply INDESCRIPTIBLE.

On Spotify, the maximum quality is a mere 320Kbps with their Hi-Fi plan, which is Considerably expensive, while Apple music even with their trial version allows you to enjoy Apple's Lossless and Hi-Res Lossless audio.

Sofia - by Clairo playing in HRL

But what is so special about apple Lossless and Hi res Lossless, well, take a look for yourself...
AAC (256 kbps): Standard quality. You have this in the data saver mode among other places. Something far superior to the 128 KBPS of Spotify or Youtube music. In spotify you can get 320 with the HiFi plan which is much more expensive.

Lossless (24 bits/48 kHz): CD quality, very, very detailed and incredible sound, which you can have even in the trial subscription. ALL songs on the platform can be enjoyed in Lossless, and even with not so good headphones you can notice the excellent audible quality, which you will not get in Spotify.

HiRes-Lossless (24 bit/192 kHz): High resolution quality, exceptional sound. To listen to this you need more powerful headphones, but believe me, when you try it, it sounds AMAZINGLY GOOD. In the song Thunderstruck by ACDC you can hear everything in detail in this one.

And you also have Dolby Atmos: Spatial Surround Audio, which is not present in many songs, but when you have it, it is AMAZING how it sounds.

EVERYTHING, absolutely EVERYTHING I just mentioned before, is available to you, even in the Apple music Trial version.

Whereas on Spotify you have to pay for such a Hi-Fi plan where you don't even get CD quality.

You also have an ALAC codec that will give you exceptional audio quality, for a low cost.

If you have a home theater or 7.1 sound system in your house, I explicitly recommend you to play a HiRes Lossless song on it, and believe me, the sensation will give you goosebumps.

But what if I don't have an iPhone or Mac? 🎣

That's not a problem... Apple music can be installed even on LG WebOS, on android, androidtv, windows, on almost anything Apple music is installable, and where not, you're always going to have their web client at hand.

Application design... ✨

Honestly here I won't talk much, see for yourselves and compare with spotify....

Let's not even talk about Youtube Music or Deezer...

Apple collaborates directly with several artists to provide unique designs for many productions

One of my favorites is Basket case by Green day, where even things in the classic background are animated.

Like the design in the desktop version and the web client, they are quite complete, the animations are fluid and the experience It's worthy, it's exceptional.

“Algorithm” 📒🔥

YOU HATE IT, I HATE IT, WE ALL HATE IT....

Although that algorithm thing is more of a web2 thing, in Apple music it's very well done.

While on spotify a lot of the recommendations are from promoted people and things that have nothing to do with you, or your tastes, on apple music the recommendations, have always gone to my tastes. And when I put a spotify song after it, in the Auto play it plays one that I didn't know, but it is So similar to the one I put that I end up liking it.

For my privacy I don't like platforms to know a lot of my tastes, but I have decided to forgive Apple Music, for the excellent experience I had with it.
Music, for the excellent experience it has given me.

Music catalog 🎤

Honestly from what I've seen, Apple Music's music catalog has surprised me, it's quite complete, all their music is available in ALAC codec with Apple's Lossless Audio, and a large portion with HiRes Lossless.

I have even found songs on apple music, which on spotify, are not yet....

Functionalities 🚆

Here yes, I totally stuck with Apple Music...

Apple music has a mode where you can turn down the volume, ON THE SONG'S OWN LYRICS, and listen to just the instrumental, this feature, is just AMAZING. And the quality of the instrumental is just as exceptional.

Now about the lyrics? Well these are manually written by the composer of the music, and are perfectly synchronized with the moments of the song, something pretty cool, and that on spotify or youtube music, I feel that this has to improve....

honey, you're talking MAGIC about apple music but the price???? 💸

Well, in all Apple Music is cheaper than services like spotify, not only your trial is 100% free, and even with some Apple devices or selected audio equipment you can have up to 3 months free trial (Normal is a one month trial) If not the prices are also pretty cheap.

The cheapest plan of 6$ per month includes everything you could ask for, except for things like sharing with family members, but it's enough and you get EVERYTHING I mentioned.

It's a lot cheaper than other streaming services, and it doesn't inflate the price for things like “Hi-Fi Sound” which I find incredible....

Conclusions? ✨📒

Honestly this Apple service is pretty good to tell the truth, it doesn't even look like something made by apple, it's all with an exceptional quality.

The cost-benefit ratio seems to me quite good, and can offer a lot in exchange for a cheaper cost than other services that do not usually offer so many things...

In the end, you are the one who has the opinion... Leave me in the comments what you think, and if you would dare To try this service that sincerely according to my opinion is 10/10.

If you liked my content, consider donating, in order to grow and continue testing services like this, even if it's just a dollar I would appreciate it very much! And I would be eternally grateful if you could do it.

maybe in the future I will be able to buy another phone that is not as rusty as my winner of a thousand battles for 5 years 🤣
