Help me, to continue helping others.... ♥️

I just don't know how to start this, how to begin talking, how to begin showing you what I want, so I'll be direct. I need your help.
There are countless crowdfunding campaigns on the internet for rather ridiculous causes, even for totally lost causes, and there are people who simply support them in some way. I firmly believe that people have the right to do whatever they want with their money, freely, so I don't question that either. I didn't really want to do this, because I feel very sorry for the community for making requests like this, but someone helped me indirectly to do it.
A few years ago, I was at an event with @gordonesTV, and he opened the door for me to the world of cryptocurrencies as such, to the world of real freedom, and since then I haven't stopped working on projects related to Zcash, investing in Zcash, and basically making Zcash an almost daily lifestyle. I have worked, I work, and I hope to continue working and contributing to the Zechub DAO, for Zcash in Spanish, where I have had the opportunity to earn extra income to support myself, while contributing to the community on various occasions with my designs and articles, and all thanks to that person who introduced me to this world. Thank you, Roosevelt.
He told us that at the time he had a similar need, where he generated content from a laptop that barely covered his basic needs, and seeing the tons of crowdfunding campaigns on the internet, with people asking for ridiculous things like money to get breast implants or buy an iPhone, and seeing how people supported these causes, he decided to ask the community for help to achieve his goal of buying a better computer that would meet his needs, and unexpectedly, he succeeded. So he urged us to never give up and always show the world what we have to offer, despite our limitations.
For those who don't know me, I don't like to give my real name to the public, but digitally, all my colleagues know me as justhon or simply Honey. I currently work part-time as a developer making direct ports of WebApps to Android for various clients, and as extra passive income, I perform tasks in the Zechub DAO, specifically for Zcash in Spanish, with whom I have had the opportunity to work on several occasions and show my work, my designs, and my writing to the public. Like Roosevelt, I am from Venezuela, and as you well know... it is a difficult country, where millions of people live in extremely precarious conditions, and even those who have the possibility of living well live with the anxiety of not making ends meet, given the hyperinflation that my country is experiencing. Despite everything, I have continued to work and contribute to the Zcash community on a voluntary basis, even with the limitations of my equipment.
Here you can see all the work I've done, and I hope to continue doing for Zcash in Spanish. https://app.dework.xyz/profile/honey
So here I am, despite everything, kindly asking for the help of anyone who wants to contribute.
My actual Computer :/
Like Roosevelt, I want to start by showing you my PC. It's obviously not the most powerful machine in the world, but it has handled every workload I've thrown at it, and I hope it continues to do so, because if this crowdfunding campaign is successful, I plan to turn it into a personal Linux-based server.
Brand: Acer
Processor (CPU): Ryzen 5 7520U (You might think that's pretty good, but this processor is known for performing more like a Celeron n3160 than a Ryzen, due extreme overheating, and turns itself off after a few hours)
RAM: 8GB (not upgradable)
Storage: a Chinese hard drive (HDD) of God knows what brand, 500GB, which came with the laptop, and I hope it continues to battle on.
Display: a random 4:3 HP monitor that I was given because the internal screen of the laptop started to develop black spots, and it didn't output video via HDMI unless the main panel was disconnected.
OS: I was constantly switching between Windows 10/11, with modifications optimized for low-end computers. But I've always had some Linux distro in multiboot, and mainly nowadays I use the good Ultramarine Linux, which has served me for basically all my needs. I use Windows exclusively for playing some games and the Adobe suite.
By the way, I got that Wi-Fi extender because the laptop's Wi-Fi card broke, and since it's soldered, I can't replace it. So with this extender I bought, thanks to some bounties on Zechub, I connect my laptop via the extender's Ethernet.

I've basically been using it as a desktop PC because the laptop battery is damaged, and I had to completely remove the screen due to its malfunctions and conflicts between the integrated graphics and the HDMI port.
I would show you a link with more information about this computer, but it seems that my pc has been removed from the brand's official website.*
Obviously, for the design tasks I perform, this computer is obsolete. It lags even with very old versions of Adobe Photoshop, such as CS6, and even struggles with websites like Canva, due THE TERRIBLE AMD Radeon 610M Graphics. So I need a computer that meets my requirements, or if I don't reach my goal, I need to be able to buy a much better monitor for my computer and some good-quality peripherals.
so... whats next?
My goal with this campaign is to purchase a laptop that meets my requirements. Yes, a laptop... Why?
For simple reasons of portability and my university studies, a laptop would help me a lot to complete my work much more efficiently, and because of the constant need to move around, given my job.
I would like to get a device with at least the following specifications:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 8000/7000 series, or Ryzen AI. It could also be an equivalent Intel processor, such as an Intel Core Ultra 7.
RAM: A minimum of 16 GB. I'm not asking for much, but I want to be able to upgrade in the future.
Graphics: Honestly, anything with a minimum of 4 GB of VRAM. I have no preference for AMD or NVIDIA (even an Intel ARC, due to its compatibility with Linux, would be fine).
Storage: At least 512GB, on a Solid state drive.
I plan to use this laptop for work, study, and maybe some gaming (although I don't play much), but mostly for work. I tend to use quite heavy software that crashes a lot, such as Illustrator and Adobe Premiere. I even wanted to try Davinci Resolve because it's free, but that was an impossible task with my machine's specifications.
I don't plan on buying anything from Apple. I like my freedom and control over my information.
I'm going to use Ultramarine Linux as my main operating system. (I'll probably install it after the warranty month, in case the computer comes with defects, or buy a machine without an operating system. My plan is to use it full-time with Linux). One of the main software programs I work with (Davinci Resolve) works perfectly on Linux, and there are already projects that allow Affinity to run on Linux without any problems. I will NEVER use Adobe again, and as far as possible, I will avoid closed software.
A device with these features costs around $1,300-1,500 in my country, so taking into account Roosevelt's crowdfunding goal, I'm going to set the same target. $1,500 is my goal for this, and I hope to achieve it by May 19, 2026.
To verify that I am a real person, you can see all the work I do on dework, or follow my personal Twitter (Now X) account.
I will be sharing the due process of this crowdfunding on free2z, and I have nothing else to add. Thank you for everything to Zcash, its community, and the wonderful people behind it. The world needs more people with hearts like yours.
Anything you want to donate, even if it's just $1 or 1 cent, will make me happy, and I truly hope to reach my goal.
With your help, I sincerely believe and have faith that this is entirely possible.
Big hugs
- Honey
