We’ve reached our third meetup of 2026, and the sixth since we started hosting events in this part of Spain.

This time, thanks to our constant networking (and, let’s be honest, not being too picky), we were able to connect with a Venezuelan friend and compatriot who also leads the Logos initiative in this city: Logos Circles. In other words, these are a kind of monthly meetup/gathering to discuss Logos’ products.

And what brings us together?

Both Zcash and Logos are united by privacy: the origins of both projects trace back to the Cypherpunk Manifesto, so we tend to speak the same language, albeit with minor differences.

The truth is that after reaching an agreement, we were finally able to hold this first event together (we hope to organize others on different topics), and the turnout was very impressive, as more than 20 people accepted the invitation to our joint meetup.

It was an entertaining afternoon filled with debate, education, and awareness-raising about privacy, government surveillance, and the implications of gradually losing control over our data. These topics are always very interesting because the audience raises very thought-provoking questions and concerns, as well as sharing enriching real-life accounts of loss of sovereignty, security breaches, or privacy violations.

The audience was very receptive to the wallets (Zcash) and private messaging (Logos). In fact, they suggested new workshops for the future. So the door remains open for us to continue providing education together.

In addition to all the information we shared that afternoon, we played some games: fun trivia contests where we rewarded users’ knowledge on all the topics we covered during the meetup, and handed out Zcash stickers and POAPs.

After the activity, we enjoyed delicious pizzas and drinks with the attendees (which we paid for with ZEC), to wrap up the afternoon/evening on a high note.

After events like this, we always leave with renewed energy. With the conviction that we’re on the right side of history and technology, and eager to do more—much more!

See you at the next Meetup!
