Greetings, dear Zcash community!
I have prepared this event with great enthusiasm and affection, as I am an enthusiast of these two tools:
On the one hand, of WordPress, a tool I've been using for 12 years, where I blog, publish my podcasts and other content, and where I also provide web design and training services.
And on the other hand, Zcash, a tool that I just discovered this year, but that has become part of my daily life, the main crypto project in my portfolio, and a community with which I collaborate with great affection and voluntarily.
I know that to do a Zcash Meetup I should be an Official Ambassador of the project, but although I am not, I am in charge of the WordPress Meetups in the city where I now live, which is San Antonio de los Altos, Venezuela, so I decided to organize a Meetup where I merge these two great projects: Zcash and WordPress.
So I organized an in-person Meetup for this month, where I will meet with all the cryptocurrency and technology enthusiasts in my city, so they can learn a little more about WordPress and Zcash, and see how easy it is to implement Zcash on their websites.
In this Meetup I intend to teach attendees:
- What is WordPress
- What is Zcash
- How to implement Zcash in WordPress through plugins, to:
- Get paid with ZEC for your products and services.
- Receive donations in ZEC
- Create crowdfunding campaigns within your website with Zcash
- Have payment gateway with Zcash in your online store
- Monetize all your content with Zcash
I'm very nervous yet excited! Because it will be the first time that I will be the only one conducting an activity to talk about Zcash, but I feel that I know enough to explain it and transmit it to the attendees in an enjoyable, easy, simple, but above all practical way.
It is not contemplated in the activity to talk about the wallets and do live tests with some of them, but for sure, if someone asks me, I will explain the installation process and how to exchange ZEC.
I want to thank all the Zcash community, in Spanish, in English, in Portuguese, and from all over the world, with whom I keep in touch through Twitter, for their content and messages about Zcash. It certainly serves me to learn and nourish myself with everything that is being done for financial privacy and security that Zcash promotes.
Thanks to @Yoditar, who always pushes me to keep learning about Zcash and other crypto projects.
Thanks to all the Zcash community in Spanish, always so receptive to the events, I hope to see you at this Meetup!
If you want more information about the event (in Spanish) and to register, you can do it in this link: WordPress and Zcash Meetup.
