I am writing to you on behalf of the Zcash in Spanish community, very grateful for all your support and backing with this campaign to renew for 1 more year the Zcash in Spanish website.
We did it, thanks to you!
I must tell you that after a lot of stress, because the date was approaching and I thought we would not be able to continue with the site, it has been possible to raise the full amount raised in the campaign.

This time we were not visited by the 5 ZEC Bandit, but each one of you was a mini-bandit! Who day after day RT'd my tweets, shared and spread the word about the campaign over and over again.

This shows the power of a community united and committed to each of the elements of its ecosystem.
By the way that we renewed for 1 more year the hosting and domain of the website, I want to take this opportunity to tell you that we have plans to make the website self-sustainable. Yes, it is good to count on your support and donations, but I think that each element of the ecosystem can be self-sustainable and independent, economically speaking. This is what true decentralization is all about!
This is why I have already proposed to the Zcash en Espanol team 2 strategies to monetize the website, which will be:
Create an internal directory on the website, PayWithZcash style, where Spanish speaking businesses, entrepreneurs and/or professionals that accept Zcash for their products or services will be published for a small fee.
Monetize the website through banner ads. As I explained in the campaign, the Zcash in Spanish website reaches more than 40 countries, and is a very powerful showcase to advertise brands, events, or other crypto initiatives (whether Zcash or not) in exchange for a small fee.
We think that with this, for the time being, we can start to accumulate a fund for the annual maintenance payments of the site.
Of course, you can always show your individual support through donations.
