Free2Z seeks to provide an unmatched interactive livestreaming experience. Interactive livestreams can be harnessed for brand building, courses, private tutoring, community meetings, live events, journalism, podcasts, and more.

However, we've identified that our current model, which focuses solely on subscriber-based livestreaming, limits the range of use cases we can cater to. Thus, we are excited to introduce our proposed next iteration and invite you, our invaluable community, to provide feedback and suggestions.

Proposed Design: Three Meeting Types

  • Broadcaster Pays: Ideal for casual meetings, webinars, or sessions where you'd want an unrestricted audience. Costs would be borne by the broadcaster, potentially at a flat rate of 100 2Zs per hour (open to suggestions). Notably, viewers wouldn’t need a Free2Z account to join these meetings, providing maximum accessibility.

  • Subscriber Only: This maintains our current model. Free2Z doesn’t take a cut, incentivizing both broadcasters to create content and users to join our platform. Users need to be subscribed to the broadcaster to access the livestream.

  • Private Meetings: Intended for confidential meetings, one-on-one sessions, or exclusive content. Accessible only through a secret URL and a password set by the broadcaster. We're considering a dual payment system where both the broadcaster and the viewer contribute, e.g., 100 2Zs an hour. Additionally, the broadcaster might set a customizable entry fee for viewers (defaulting to 0). This model would require rigorous error handling due to the involvement of balances.

Visibility

While "Broadcaster Pays" and "Subscriber Only" types could be highlighted on our homepage under "Who's Live", the "Private" type would be discreetly hidden from public view to ensure privacy. We're committed to ensuring that private meeting passwords are securely hashed and salted.

Your Feedback

We believe this expansion can make Free2Z a go-to platform for diverse livestreaming needs. But it's essential that this transformation aligns with our community's requirements and expectations. We invite you to share:

  • Your thoughts on the proposed meeting types.
  • Pricing suggestions and modifications.
  • Ideas on how we can enhance user experience and security.
  • Any potential challenges or concerns you foresee.

Let's collaborate to shape the future of interactive livestreaming on Free2Z!

Conclusion

Your feedback is invaluable to us. The digital space for interactive livestreaming is vast and continually evolving, and together, we can ensure Free2Z remains at the forefront, catering to all use-cases innovatively and efficiently. Your insights and suggestions will play a crucial role in our next steps, and we eagerly await your responses. Let's redefine livestreaming, together!
