There was no need for email confirmation, {BIG TECH} logins, or tying an identity to the content. That simplicity and privacy are core aspects we continue to honor.
As our community took root and grew, so did their needs. Users began seeking features typical of mainstream internet platforms—profiles, avatars, upload management, access controls, and the ability to follow or subscribe. This was a natural evolution as Free2Z became a stage for creators to showcase their businesses and personal brands.
We've introduced features like AI, livestreaming, and the 2Z token to enhance the user experience and manage platform economics. The 2Z token, designed to stop spam and measure revenue, is transitioning into a mechanism to reward partners with real financial benefits.
The initial concept was simple. A username and password were all you needed to create a zPage, essentially a Zcash tip jar you could point to and say, "you are free to Zcash me at free2z.cash/skylar." Now, the Creator profile is growing into something richer. It's a hub for your media, AI images, livestreams, and conversations—a growing digital portfolio to showcase your presence and content on Free2Z.

We've taken a cautious approach with email. While it's a potent tool, its use on Free2Z is currently reserved for account recovery. It’s an optional feature that provides a safety net for your content without encroaching on your privacy. We pledge to protect your data, never to sell it, and to uphold it with industry-standard security measures.
