Free2Z has 2 production-like environments that are placed at the test and stage subdomains:
We are constantly pushing code to production. test is for before merging and stage is for a final check before we go to production.
Each environment has its own independent database. Periodically, we wipe away all changes to stage and test and replace the data with an exact replica of production. This tends to happen a few times a month.
Free2Z is driven by volunteer early adopters who help direct the future of the site. In this spirit, we are keeping 100 shielded $ZEC in reserve to pay for people to find bugs and regressions on test and stage, as well as to give us ideas for features, UX improvements, and general product direction. If you want to make some test accounts and go wild without worrying about making a mess of the data, feel free to bang away on test and stage. Do penetration testing, try to hack us, give us ideas for features, privacy, security and design. Of course, you can also use the production domain. But, test and stage might be more likely to have bugs🐞🐛🐜🕷🦟🪲🪳 that you can turn into sweet, pure, shielded ZEC.
