When my dog was a little puppy, one day my dad was grilling outside. He was preparing brisket and my dog was going crazy with the delicious smell of meat. We were about to bring the meat inside so that flies wouldn't get it and when we went back outside we noticed that our puppy was under the grill licking the hot brisket grease as it bubbled down into the metal pan below the grill. Somehow she managed to do it so that she didn't get burned but her mouth, head and nose were covered with grease. It took me a long time and a lot of soap to finally get her cleaned up and ready for bed.

My puppy was obsessed with the delicious smell of grilled brisket. She managed to lick the hot grease without getting burned, but needed a thorough cleaning before bed.
