I’m Skylar. I have a degree in mathematics, and I built Adaptive Math Pathways (AMP) for my boys. We homeschool, and we use it every day.

I wanted practice that could find the next useful step, explanations that make the mathematics visible, and materials we could use at a desk or on paper. That’s AMP.

Practice that responds to you

Math skills connect. Understanding equal groups helps with multiplication; understanding fractions helps with ratios and algebra.

AMP uses your answers to choose what to practice next. Adaptive mixed practice brings useful skills together, while lessons and worked explanations help you understand a problem when you need them. Printable materials let you continue on paper.

Start with the free assessment. Answer at your own pace, explore the explanations, and see what the next step looks like for you.

A small example of seeing the mathematics

Which is greater: 7/8 or 8/9?

Think about what is missing from one whole:

  • 7/8 is missing 1/8.
  • 8/9 is missing 1/9.

A ninth is a smaller piece than an eighth of the same whole. So 8/9 is closer to one, and 8/9 is greater than 7/8.

That is the kind of explanation we care about: you can see why the answer makes sense and use the idea again.

Use your Arkansas EFA or Arizona ESA funds

An annual AMP license is $499 for one learner. Each learner needs a separate license.

Corpora is an approved provider connected to ClassWallet DirectPay for these programs:

Program administrators review purchases. An approved purchase covered by your account balance can be paid with those funds through DirectPay. Follow your state guide for the documents and steps; access begins after approval and payment verification.

You can try the free assessment before choosing a license.
