Corpán — pure learning, fully offline
A language app that lives entirely on your device. No account. No tracking. No
connection required. Fifty-one languages, a patient on-device AI tutor, a
multilingual audiobook library, and a growing world of games and phrase packs —
all running locally on your phone, tablet, or desktop.
It has been a long while since we posted here on Free2z. We have had our heads
down building. So this is a catch-up: what Corpán has become, and where it is
going.
Private by design
Most language apps are a thin shell over a server farm. Corpán is the opposite.
The models, the audio, the phrases, your progress — they all live on your
device. You can put the phone in airplane mode on a flight, a train, or a
mountain and keep learning exactly as before.
We are a small, independent team building on raw, cutting-edge on-device
technology. We do not harvest your data because we never see it.
A patient AI tutor, on your device
Corpán runs a real language model locally — a tutor you can talk to that
never sends a word to the cloud. Ask it to explain a phrase, drill you, role-play
a conversation, or slow down. It is always available and always private.
Speak, and be heard
Speech recognition runs on-device too. Practice pronunciation out loud and get
feedback without your voice ever leaving the phone. We rebuilt this layer from
the ground up so dictation works across platforms and degrades gracefully to the
keyboard when a device can't run it.
A multilingual audiobook library
Our Earthgate reader turns reading into listening — and listening into
reading. Follow along in your language while a narrator reads, with the original
alongside. Long-form, interruption-resilient audio that survives a phone call or
a lock screen.
One phrase, every language — Phrase Flip
See a single phrase rendered across every language you are studying, side by
side, and hear them compared. It is a simple idea that makes the shape of a
language click.
Learn by playing
Corpán is becoming a place, not just an app. Corpan City is a 3D world you
walk through, talking to characters powered by the on-device tutor and completing
quests that are really language practice in disguise. More games are on the way.
Fifty-one languages, in their own scripts
Corpán supports 51 languages across 52 written scripts — including eight South
Asian languages, right-to-left scripts rendered properly end to end, and ten
thousand real, human-quality phrases per language. Every phrase is written in
the language's own script, not transliterated.
