Corpán v0.9.3: Packs are here: games, experiences, and a creator SDK.
Corpán started from a blunt observation: a lot of language learning software is annoying. It is distracting. It is full of ads, nags, subscriptions, streak pressure, and shiny “engagement” tricks that treat your attention like a resource to extract. A lot of apps are also dishonest about their mission, optimizing for retention metrics while pretending it is about learning.
We think language learning can be better.
Corpán is built to respect your time. Clean UI. No noise. No ad-tech nonsense. A serious foundation that is becoming world-class through shipping, iteration, and real product quality.
v0.9.3 is a big milestone because it unlocks the roadmap we have been building toward from day one.
Packs: modular experiences at full speed
Packs are a modular system for delivering new content and experiences on top of the base app. This matters because language learning is not “one method.” It is a space with countless possible approaches, workflows, and learning styles.
With Packs, we can:
- Ship entirely new experiences, fast
- Refine and iterate on specific experiences without slowing everything else down
- Explore many methodologies in parallel, and keep improving what works
- Keep the core app clean, focused, and respectful
In v0.9.3, Packs are live, and you can launch the first experiences directly inside Corpán.
New in v0.9.3: Hover Runner (a juicy 3D learning game)
Hover Runner is a smooth, fast-start 3D runner-style game designed to be easy to jump into and fun to play. It is built for short sessions you can actually fit into your day, and it is only the beginning of what Packs make possible.

New in v0.9.3: Hanzipan (Chinese character practice)
Hanzipan is a Chinese character practice experience built for quick reps and momentum. Not a huge “course,” not a wall of text. Just a focused loop you can run again and again until recognition starts to click.
These are not separate apps. In Corpán v0.9.3 you can tap into Hover Runner and Hanzipan from inside Corpán in a couple of clicks.
Creator upgrade: Developer Mode and the Packs SDK
Packs are not just for us. We are building Corpán as a platform.
v0.9.3 includes the foundations for a Packs and games SDK, so creators can build their own language-learning experiences that run inside Corpán. If you want to prototype a new learning loop, a new game mechanic, or a new methodology, you can ship it as a Pack.
That means:
- Build experiences and games that launch inside Corpán
- Use the building blocks we have established (phrase corpus, audio via native TTS, and Pack-local content)
- Iterate fast and share what you build

What’s next
This release changes the pace.
Packs unlocks an endless surface area for new learning experiences and methodologies on top of a clean base. Games, drills, experiments, curated content, new practice modes. Anything that helps learning and feels good to use is now on the table.
We are going to ship a lot. Fast. We are going to refine aggressively. And we are going to keep pushing toward language learning that is genuinely fun, high-quality, and respectful of your time.
