I would like to add zcash places to the open source database on github.com/therealbitcoinclub/flutter_coinector
that dataset is used on various websites to promote usage of bitcoin for payments
- coinector.app since 2019
- bitcoinmap.cash since 2018
- bmap.app since 2020
its also being used in various native mobile apps for Android & iOS
in total a few thousand monthly active users looking to spend crypto p2p
please give the app a try especially the Android version as these include special features like statistics, sort by distance, searchable tags
Locate & Manage:
the app can be used to locate places and to manage these, edits are pushed from within the app to github
Open Source:
the app is open source and anyone of the zcash community can build functionality on top of it and release it as zcash only variant
Brand recognition:
All users of Bitcoin Map will see ZCash on the statistics page and will see Zcash as a tag on all places that accept it, the ticker and the brand of Zcash will appear repeatedly inside that app
Timeline:
Once funded the places will be added within 30 days and all upcoming Zcash places that are submitted via bmap.app/add within next 12 months will also be added
Optional Images:
Places will not have pictures to begin with but can be added with an additional funding and if there are images available on Google Maps
