It’s not every day that regular people have a great idea to start a blog, video, and podcast platform to bring everyone from Zcash together to hang out and publish content that can be appreciated by the world. But Skylar (and partners) began building Free2Z with those desires and more. He faced challenges that any idealist might find on their road to success, but slowly F2Z is becoming what it is supposed to be: a place where big things are published!
Many people use social blockchain platforms to make money and gain recognition worldwide, but Skylar didn't do that. Instead, he preferred to create a place where all ZEC (and not only) could produce, share, and promote content of their own.

For those who don’t know, Free2Z has evolved a lot more than what you see today, and Skylar and his team are building something remarkable. It’s remarkable because it has many of the features that other social media platforms have, but with a twist, as people can tip and donate Zcash or Tuzis anonymously and securely. I first heard the “gospel” of F2Z more than two years ago, and since day one, I have seen spectacular growth here.
I am a creator who values great things and uses them accordingly. F2Z is a fantastic platform, and I love publishing here because I feel a connection between it and what I write. For example, in the last seven months, I had a contract to write for a platform and do some editing work that I could have republished here. But no, I couldn’t (I tried but..) use my F2Z feed to republish—only genuine content coming from real-life experiences.
The man behind Free2Z has always shown me what a cool and supportive person he is, and as a gesture of appreciation, I named my youngest daughter after him: Skylar! She has the pleasure of carrying the name of a great person, and when she grows up, I will tell her the story behind her name.

Everything I write today in this article is to honor this “dear dude” of mine and to tell him, “Don’t worry, mate, we are following all the developments of Free2Z and the impact it’s bringing to the crypto space, and ZEC in particular. Farewell, my friend. F2Z is great, and you are one of the big guys making it happen. I’m here, and I will always support this platform with my skills and content.”
