Tether CEO Paolo Arduino, claims that his company is the United States government "best friend!". He said that Tether holds more US treasuries than any other competitor in the market.
The Tether CEO statements suggest that his company hold significant amounts of US treasuries securities as part of their stablecoin reserves and also highlights that they secure one of the safest and most liquidity assets available in the world that provide stability and trust for users of their USDT stablecoin.
Ardoino saying that is ensuring that Tether is reliable, trustable which strengthen confidence in the stability and security of USDT. Holding US treasuries, Tether is indirectly supporting the US economy by investing in government bonds and here is the reason he says "Tether is the US government best friend" implying that Tether operations benefit the US financial system.
The Tether CEO words are emphatically putting the company as the best US bonds holders and better positioned than their direct competitors as robust,reliable and better backed than any of them combined. He reinforces that Tether is a trustable, transparent and more robust company acting on the stablecoin ecosystem.
All of this come after the American crypto exchange promised to dismiss tether USDT if the company doesn't comply with the MiCa regulation in Europe by December 31. Ardoino statements are putting Tether again on the radar as one (in fact it is until now) of the most important stablecoins in the crypto industry.
Well, those are worlds by Tether CEO, what the world needs are actions are showing that in fact all the reserves they claim exist and nothing more. Anyone can have fancy words and claim whatever they want but can fail to prove, so Mr CEO get transparent or say Bye bye to Europe. Remember:
