Fun and dangerous things are happening in the world, but few people are seeing them the right way. I live in a country that was once upo n a time colonized. Europeans dominated many African nations, and Mozambique was one of them. The Portuguese took the most valuable resources from it and are still taking them, as the government of the day can't do anything to stop it.
The administration is full of corrupt minds that make it easier to steal, exploit, and create division among them just by using Uncle Sam. Forgive me for saying this, but "we have one of the most corrupt governments in Africa." Our leaders are easy to convince and lead into selling innumerable quantities of resources, as they love immediate money. They don't invest in their nations; instead, they steal, get dirty money, and use it to get luxurious mansions in Dubai, France, the US, etc. The same money could be used to build hospitals, schools, increase companies, and give their taxpayers jobs. But it's the inverse: they take money to invest in places that barely need it.
Consequences of this behavior are that many nations are on the verge of bankruptcy, not because they don't have the means to live and sustain themselves, but because their money is used to feed individuals, not the state. The unemployment rate is growing, major infrastructure is rotting, people live below the poverty line with less than a dollar per day, and face much worse situations than the outside world can imagine—and the legacy media won't show.
In an attempt to cover all the bad things they do, they make confidential agreements with some Europeans to send young Africans to work for them. These agreements are camouflaged within certain rules that the employee will never understand. He only sees the immediate return when he goes abroad: he will work and put some money on the table.
Several young men are going to work in old colonies and establishing themselves there. Today, for example, the number of Mozambicans working in Portugal is 100 times higher than in the past, and there's a reason for that. They are helping a dying economy to survive, as their population is old. There aren't enough young people to work in their industries, hospitals, schools—you name it. The same old behavior from colonial times is coming back, but this time thousands of young people are migrating voluntarily and leaving their countries.
This isn't done sporadically. Many African nations are dealing with high rates of unemployment created by the West, only to make these young people leave their countries and work for them. If you get a corrupt government, it's easy to "steal" their workforce and continue building their nations while they are still sleeping on that.
Those are the wrong right things happening that many don't see—but not me.
