After the FBIjobs page got attacked and more than 2T in files compromised by ShinyHunters group, the US government agency acknowledged the case and promise to do everything on their capabilities to make the culprits pay. Yes, they literally said that as in one tweet on X promised to use all means necessary to solve the case and take down the hack group.
Just to capitulate ShinyHunters announced that have seized the FBIjobs page and with it secure more than 2T of data that comprehend their agents, people whom the agency recruit and much more. The attack isn't financial based but one that demand the FBI to public retract themselves about disinformation made towards ShinyHunters.
Based on ShinyHunters the FBI spread false information about the group and accused them about using tactics to sex extortion people. That and more accusations made the ShinyHunters to hack into the FBIjobs page and seize it. After that the page went down and the feds now are acknowledging the incident and promise to retaliate and have the case solved.
It's incredible audacious by ShinyHunters group to threaten the feds knowing that they have the law and means into their side and now **it's a open war between them. I don't know what the group is capable of but I know that the FBI is one of the biggest government security agencies in the world and will hunt the case until the end.
Seriously we have some kind of attitude from the ShinyHunters group and that's is dangerous. If they aren't afraid of the feds and can openly challenge them, that means something is broken. There no more law to be followed, there's no accountability and if the fashion continues more and more hackers can do the same. Just imagine: they took hostage a website from the FBI and are demanding things to them, and they are not even hiding. They are bold, smart and dangerous.
