What is Privacy?
Certainly, many, upon seeing this question, will search in books or even in the now-famous AI to answer it. But is it so difficult to answer?
I believe it is not because we all know what privacy is, and we all know how important it is. Let's consider a common case of privacy in everyday life.
I know that many here have a home, and it has a backyard or a space that the homeowner uses to do their things without the neighbor next door knowing what it is. In other words, a space where one can be at ease without anyone interfering with what the person wishes to do or even seeing what the person is doing!
We call this space a private space, a space where a person can engage in an activity without anyone interfering or knowing what the other is doing.
But we can also see that houses - today, I'll talk a lot about houses - have a fence. This fence could be a wall or even a galvanized wire fence. It serves the purpose of allowing one to establish their space and engage in personal activities without the neighbor seeing. Unless, of course, the individual chooses to share what they are doing.

When we talk about financial privacy, we often mean that all monetary transactions we make are confidential. Only the account owner has access to them. However, when it involves a third party, this confidentiality is threatened because they can access the account and check confidential data without seeking the account owner's permission. This scenario plays out frequently with bank accounts.
This is why extreme and confidential financial privacy should never have accessibility for a third party because it puts it in danger.
It's important to understand that we all have a deep knowledge of privacy, but we often neglect it. Some say they don't care about it, while others don't realize its importance. However, we all agree that we need something to hold onto when we want to spend time alone (in private). We reflect on our lives and make important decisions. This is also privacy for reflection and careful thinking to make a decision.
Therefore, we can see that we all know what privacy is, and we want it to be a part of our lives. But are we all prepared to take control of our privacy?
That's a question each of us should ask ourselves and answer alone. After all, we all know and want to have a bit of privacy!

So, what is privacy, after all? It's something we all understand, even if we can't quite put it into words. It's that quiet corner of our lives, the space where we can be ourselves without anyone looking over our shoulders. Whether it's our backyard or our financial transactions, we value the ability to keep some things to ourselves.
Privacy is like that secret ingredient in a recipe; you might not always notice it, but it's essential. We all have a deep sense of its importance, even if we don't always realize it. Some of us claim not to care about it, while others might take it for granted. Yet, in those moments when we need to reflect or make important decisions, privacy becomes our sanctuary.
