By accessing the Ledger Connector Kit, cybercriminals obtained a method for connecting Dapps, widely used in the crypto ecosystem. The Ledger connector kit is the most popular method worldwide for interacting with web3 Dapps, providing access to the cryptocurrency paradise.
For instance, a user wanting to connect their cryptocurrency wallet to Uniswap and buy or sell assets must sign the connection, allowing hackers full access to the assets in the wallet, leading to its depletion.

This breach in Ledger's connector kit undoubtedly resulted in irreparable losses of cryptocurrencies and NFTs in the ecosystem. Many individuals are currently facing hardships due to cybercriminal actions.
