The situation is alarming in the Gaza Strip, with Israel launching the equivalent of a quarter of a nuclear bomb on residential areas, killing civilians and causing unprecedented destruction in Palestine, according to the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.
The "Iron Swords" operation carried out by the Israeli army aims to put an end once and for all to the radical Hamas group, which conducted an attack on Israel a few days ago, resulting in the death of over 1,300 people and the taking of some as hostages.
However, despite being a justifiable action to end Hamas, a radical militant group, the Israeli incursion has led to numerous civilian casualties and a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions.
The Israeli army has been using heavy artillery in residential territories, and the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor estimates that the equivalent of a quarter of a nuclear bomb, which is about 6,000 bombs, has been dropped since the attacks began in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the loss of 14 Palestinian lives every hour.
