Even in prison Sam Bankman-Fried, most known as SBF, problems still persists as his bankrupt Exchange and it's trading Firm Alameda Research will have to pay $12.7 billion to their creditors after it got approved by a Judge as consent order this Wednesday.
The FTX exchange went broke after his CEO went "generous" and start using the platform funds to finance his own particular enterprises and spending more than 7 billion dollars in customers money . His act of "generosity" led him to prison and condemned to pay for his crimes. But all that didn't gave him a white pass to not pay the money he spent from his adventurers and generosity as creditors need to receive what his theirs.
This approval by the New York judge give creditors hope to see their money back after all the FTX and Alameda Research scandal. Interesting to me is to know if the "generosity" from SBF to the democrats will be reimbursed as it was illicit money coming from the FTX CEO.
Despite not seeing that happen I believe that there's enough liquidity on the vaults of the defunct exchange to pay creditors and fulfill their obligations with the law. Remember:
