On October 8th, a Zcash Mexico meetup was held in Puebla city, bringing together attendees interested in learning more about Zcash, its technology, and its ecosystem. Furthermore the 10th Zcash anniversary and the begining of Zcash México were highlighted.

During the meetup, we introduced Zcash and discussed its background, history, and key features. We also explained the different types of Zcash addresses and how they work, as well as the fundamentals of zk-proofs, mining and its role in the network.
To encourage participation and reinforce the topics covered, we organized an interactive quiz. The winners received prizes in ZEC, and the other attendees also received memos with a lower quantity in ZEC. We also distributed Zcash merchandise and provided snacks.
Besides, Palmar joined via online and welcomed the community.
Overall, the meetup was a positive and engaging experience. Attendees showed a strong interest in learning about Zcash, asking questions, and exploring its features. Their enthusiasm highlighted the importance of organizing more educational and community-focused activities to strengthen awareness, adoption, and engagement within the Zcash ecosystem.
