most numbers show we are in the most energetic era in zeconomy for sure. so many things being built and shipping soon and happening all at once. likely another wave of shielded acceleration will be here soonish based on recent and next developments.

how would i describe Zodl summit in 1 sentence?
kinda corporate looking event that has a lot of community and organic vibe to it from the content and communication side being hosted at fancy hotel.
Prague is almost a perfect city, its compact, nice to walk around near the river and old town or take a tram to further out. outside it was mostly warm sunny days. wats dat language tho - hard to understand mostly. lets get to actual meat.
day0.
arrived bit late to anoma x shielded labs dinner - food was amazin.
i was not 100% full of energy so vibed there with other Zcashers, Anomas and others. amazing vibe in dat restaurant. thanks shielded labs and anoma for dis lil side event.
after walked to hotel while talking with another Zcash dev bout last months and how busy everyone has been. wen i arrived at hotel i was asleep fast.

day1.
walked into the hotel - many walking around - wrong people here tho
morning started with getting in the right room.
Josh started it with a similar story about parallel society like last year similar event.
otherwise a lot of new things were discussed dis day. some roadmap of zodl wallet. few great UX improvements comin soon i guess.
1 presentatino was bout driving adoption - i think dat will be hardest mission in coming years and we need to start preparing for it already now, at least slowly testing the grounds. guess in some way we already are, but its been very experimental. more systems needed going forward.
at lunch 1 Zcasher showed me the Hito hardware wallet - super slick, credit card sized. very nice wen they launch Zcash support on it.
after lunch there were more presentations. cypherpunk co talked about wat theyre doin. ZF presented what their current focus is. cipherpay and cipherscan was presented, heard many voices sayin they like to use it also, gotta say i also use it a lot recently since they have many great features and its very reliable. ZEC stats was also one of the presentations and they showed what the chain can indicate, well a lot but mostly the transparent part cause its hard to impossible to get a lot of stats that can mean much in shielded.
this evening also had a short side event organized by kit from redbridge. many conversations were had by zcashers and redbridge people and others. great location again.
evening ended later with shielded boat ride with sunset views on the older part of the city.
mostly spent time discussing zcash and payments and about the world with a few zcashers i met first time offline but few who had communicated online. thank you for your time, it inspired me to think more about what we still missing and where we going…
didnt bring any money on the boat just in case.
later walked back to hotel, warm night, super chill vibe, no crazy people just Zcash crazy people.
day2.
woke up rested. was exited about the tachyon talk happening. it was interesting tho im still not 100% sure how it will all work out in reality. u know?
NU 6.3 overview - teams are mostly aligned on it. work is going on as we speak. its coming very soon. zcashd deprecation talks. whew that went smoother than expected last week.
quantum presentation - wow its super technical again. PIR opportunities - new interesting stuff that can improve UX in different ways soon hopefully.
noticed the news flexa will add europe payments soon. great news to have. spending zcash in europe in more or less directly might actually become much more feasible for many.
second mini side event organized by kit from redbridge. it was gud. no photos from there.
shielded party at the rooftop in the evening. well it had a giant icestatue of ZODL logo. wow. impressive and well crafted. there was food and drinks. there were people who love privacy tech. so a bunch of discussions went on the whole evening between different people.
couldnt stay for too long as had to wake up early next day.

day 3.
hope it was fun for everyone. couldnt enjoy the workshops day as i had to leave early to meet another group of zcashers in another place.

so if u have not been to any ZODL summit or previous versions of the same event under different name and are a long term zodler or zcash community memeber and contirubutor and can go to the next one, i would reccomend you do it. this will benefit zcash and aslo yoou personally by building your relationships stronger with others.
i enjoyed talking with few new faces. i was told multiple times its great to put faces to names. while for me it was great to put names to faces and faces and names to unknowns.
