Joel Valenzuela provides a technical overview of podcast recording. He shares his expertise in using open-source software, specifically OBS on Ubuntu, for both live and recorded podcasts. Streaming to YouTube is made easier with the restream plugin, allowing simultaneous broadcasting to platforms like Odyssey.
Joel also unveils his hardware setup, featuring Logitech webcams, an Audio-Technica 2005 USB microphone, wireless headphones, and a professional lighting arrangement with softboxes and a ring light. He even explores the idea of incorporating AI-generated artwork into the background for a personalized touch. We also discuss the platforms where our podcast is available, such as YouTube, Odyssey, Spotify, Apple Music, and various social media platforms.
Meet Aura and Roosevelt, active members of the Zcash community! They've been working diligently to promote Zcash in Latin America and the Hispanic community worldwide. They share their experience in creating the first Zcash website in Spanish and running the Zcash en Español blog. Recently, their grant proposal for "Zcast: The Zcash Podcast in Spanish" was approved by the global Zcash community.
Aura and Roosevelt outline their plans for the podcast, aiming to make Zcash accessible to a wider audience through various formats, including recorded episodes and live event coverage. They discuss the equipment they've acquired to ensure high-quality production, such as microphones and cameras.
