Last week, specifically from November 2nd to 5th, the Caracas Blockchain Week took place.
As you can imagine, having an event of this stature in Venezuela has been an incredible experience and of course, our community could not be left out.
We are making history...
Perhaps for many people, Caracas Blockchain Week has gone unnoticed, but for crypto enthusiasts this represents a more importantly moment in history.
This is quite simple to understand, many of the main communities of the crypto ecosystem made an presence in our capital to make many things clear to us:
We are facing a stage of incredible financial evolution.
People are becoming more and more willing to learn about cryptocurrencies and their different aspects.
As you can see, the presence of great speakers made it clear that the more knowledge we have, the easier our crypto adoption will be.
The Zcashers understand this and we take advantage of the opportunities
If there is something I have often talked about in this community is precisely the sense of identity and the ambition for knowledge that the Zcashers have.
We are always looking for new spaces where we can learn, and Caracas Blockchain Week was the perfect opportunity to do so.
Thanks to the invitation of our ambassador Yoditar, many of us were able to live the experience in the front row and truly, in my personal opinion, it was one of the best things we have experienced.
Beyond the simple fact of devirtualizing, it was evident that first of all those who are part of Zcash always want to be constantly learning and updating and also that those who run this space are looking for opportunities for us to continue growing in the crypto world.

What can be highlighted from what we experienced at Caracas Blockchain Week?
I think we could say many things, but I want to summarize this in some variables that I personally found important and especially useful for those of us who live in crypto communities:
- Logistics: Caracas Blockchain Week had quite impeccable logistics. Both the chosen space, the BOD Cultural Center, and the layout of the stands and conference areas were very good.
The access was easy whether you attended in your own vehicle or by public transport.
It was also quite easy to locate yourself within the event to take advantage of the information presented by the speakers and the communities and projects that had their booth.
- Prices: Tickets were quite affordable. You could choose to buy bracelets for the whole week or simply choose the day you were most interested in. Additionally, tickets could be paid for in cryptocurrencies.
In addition to this, there were many contests and incentives for those who wanted to live the experience, so there was no excuse to miss the first edition of Caracas Blockchain Week.

And there's more...
- Conferences and projects: Definitely the focal point of the event and in my opinion it was very well covered.
The event had national and international speakers, topics that covered information of interest to both enthusiasts and more experienced people, in short, a mix that allowed to enjoy, learn and get involved in the whole experience.
In addition, each of the crypto community booths had very good information, prepared people making their pitches for the attendees and as if that were not enough, very good merch for attendees to take home a souvenir.
- Community spirit: Undoubtedly the best point for me.
At Caracas Blockchain Week we could see how cohesive each of the communities are.
Seeing the people from Hive, BNB Chain, Coco Pago, BeerBot Club, Infinox, Coin Coin was to understand a lot of what I talk about and what I do:
"Communities are the backbone of every single crypto project and of course, we Zcashers are not far behind!"
It was awesome to see each other's faces, share experiences and above all understand that we are learning but also contributing to the ecosystem.
In conclusions
No doubt Caracas Blockchain Week was an incredible experience of which I will treasure unique memories and of which I also feel proud.
I say this not only for having been an attendee, but also for seeing how in our country initiatives are being developed that invite us to not only stay with what we hear or read, but also with what we can see and help to build.
Let's keep building, learning and take advantage of the power of the community, we hope to see you next year in another Caracas Blockchain Week!
Remember you can share with more Zcashers in our DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM, we are waiting for you!
