Hello, my name is Elizabeth Barrios. A couple of months ago I arrived at the Zcash ecosystem and it has been a whole new world to discover. I have never before thought about the importance of privacy as I am now aware. Also, I have been able to observe how the community can build great things through Free2Z and that is the reason for this Zpage: a fundraiser for Papeles a Color.
My story
About 3 years ago I made the leap to start my creative stationery business, motivated by two things, one, the economic and governmental crisis in Venezuela, which is already well known, and two, because I like this colorful world of art. I never imagined that I would reach so many clients and learn so much that, when you see my first creations, they don't look likeanything I do now and I hope that, in a couple of years, the same thing will happen to me when you look at what I currently do.
And although it has been a very beautiful journey, I have to limit myself to sell a certain number of products, since I do not have the necessary equipment to automate some of the processes of this craft.
This has led to many late nights that are bad for anyone’s health, and in addition, constant back pains from spending so much time sitting and cutting paper by hand.
Why have I not been able to buy the equipment despite having clients?
As I was saying, I cannot attend to as many orders as I would like and, precisely because I live in an area with an economic crisis, the prices that I offer are quite cheap compared to other countries, since most people do not have a stable purchasing power as it is in other countries. In addition, I have a small child who requires many expenses characteristic of his age and the payment for various classes such as music, cycling and swimming.
The good thing about this situation is that it has helped me learn a lot, because I have to improvise to lower costs and make the products look beautiful. In addition, to maintain integrity in times of crisis, because even when things go wrong, there is nothing left but to breathe and run so that everything is ready on time, that has taught me patience, perseverance, responsibility and has made me a better person and worker.
What do I need to improve my work and what would be the main objective?
I will make a list according to priority, the first being the most important to be able to growPapeles a Color, together with Zcash, as little bit more.
- Cutting plotter (With it I will be able to cut most of the things, especially the small ones, with greater speed, safety and precision).
- Printer with ink tank. Since I have a domestic one but the cartridges lasts very little and are expensive, and the printing quality is not the best.
- Binder to make the first notebooks.
- Punching machine.
- Office chair.
- Accessories and hand tools.
With these materials and tools I want to start a line of personalized Zcash-themed stationery, such as notebooks, personalized folders, pens, cards, talkers and other corporate stationery.
This, based on two fundamental aspects: one is the classic marketing design of a product and another more jovial, which integrates a diversity of colorful and striking designs as you can see in my Zpage design for Zcash.

An alternative to grow Zcash in Venezuela
In my country, precisely because of the problems with the local currency, the use of crypto has been growing rapidly. As announced there, it is what I have planned to do as a return to the help received from Zcash and its people. In my country an immense wave of enterprises has grown that are always looking for alternatives to receive payments from abroad, and by presenting Zec they are not only being educated, but also their clients from inside and outside the country.
The best method is always in person when it comes to learning something new and very different from the traditional. And motivated by the stationery prize for their projects, surely many people will attend. Everything always safe and free.
