A Zcash Mempool Visualizer
Hello free2z community! For those who don't know me, I'm James, a Brazilian Zcash enthusiast and software developer, and a member of the Zcash Brazil team. I've created several Zcash-related projects.
Now, I'm introducing my latest project: ZcashMetro, a mempool visualization tool for Zcash. It represents Zcash blocks as trains and transactions as cute zebras. The zebras rush to the train when a block is mined.
This is a Proof of Concept (PoC), but it's already very usable. There are some bugs, like zebras jumping on the train tracks or the train going backwards, but I'm working on improving it. Here are a few ideas for improvement:
- Prettier signage for current block and mempool length.
- Shielded transactions represented by zebras with a shield icon.
- More detailed info on hover.
- Better mobile support.
Maintaining this project will be time-consuming, and I really want to make the improvements listed above. I'm asking for donations to continue working on it. Even small donations are welcome!
