My rubik's cube collection

Hello guys!

Today I want to show my rubik's cube collection, and give my opinion on each puzzle.

2x2x2

  • Description
    • This is a very simple cube. I really like this one.
  • My average solving time
    • 8 seconds
  • My personal best
    • Around 6 seconds
  • Fun
    • 3/10
    • Since it's so easy, it gets boring after a few solves.
  • Frustration
    • 1/10
    • Not many downsides. It's just too easy.

3x3x3

  • Description
    • The OG Rubik's cube. My favorite one.
  • My average solving time
    • 30 seconds
  • My personal best
    • Around 19 seconds
  • Fun
    • 10/10
    • Very fun to play with. Never gets boring.
  • Frustration
    • 0/10
    • No downsides, this puzzle is perfect.

4x4x4

  • Description
    • Larger cubes are interesting. This is the 4x4x4. fun fact: it can be solved like a 2x2x2, so it's 2 puzzles in one!
  • My average solving time
    • 2 and half minutes
  • My personal best
    • Around 1 minute and a half
  • Fun
    • 5/10
    • Since the 4x4x4 doesn't have a fixed center, it's fun to pair and match pieces to create the centers, very intuitive.
  • Frustration
    • 3/10
    • I hate "odd parities", that's when edges and corners are flipped incorrectly, a special algorithm should be performed in order to solve parity.

5x5x5

  • Description
    • I like the 5x5x5 more than I like the 4x4x4.
  • My average solving time
    • 5 and half minutes
  • My personal best
    • Little less than 5 minutes
  • Fun
    • 6/10
    • I just like it, has a fixed center like the 3x3x3, but also needs pairing the pieces, very nice.
  • Frustration
    • 2/10
    • It only has parity on edges, it doesn't have pairty on corners.

Mirror cube

  • Description
    • This cube doesn't have colors! The way we solve it is by matching pieces by size. Very cool. It's very beaten up, it was my favorite cube for a while.
  • My average solving time
    • 1 and half minutes
  • My personal best
    • Just under a minute
  • Fun
    • 7/10
    • It very intuitive to match pieces by size. I really like it
  • Frustration
    • 2/10
    • Because this cube is a "shapeshifter", sometimes it's hard to turn and hold it properly.

Megaminx

  • Description
    • Interesting weird "cube" (I know it's not a cube). Even though it looks sacry, it's quite straightforward to solve.
  • My average solving time
    • 8 minutes
  • My personal best
    • Maybe 7 minutes or so
  • Fun
    • 5/10
    • It's a cool puzzle, but nothing special
  • Frustration
    • 2/10
    • Again, bothing special.

Windmill

  • Description
    • Another shapeshifting cube.
  • My average solving time
    • 3 and half minutes
  • My personal best
    • Around 2 minute and a half
  • Fun
    • 5/10
    • It solves mostly like the 3x3x3, but worse.
  • Frustration
    • 4/10
    • Hard to hold, turn and identify the pieces. Sometimes has an anoying flipped center that needs an special algorithm to solve.

Fisher Cube

  • Description
    • Yet Another shapeshifting cube.
  • My average solving time
    • 3 and half minutes
  • My personal best
    • Around 2 minute and a half
  • Fun
    • 5/10
    • It solves mostly like the windmill, but worse.
  • Frustration
    • 5/10
    • Same problems as with the windmill, plus edge parity.

Axis cube

  • Description
    • Weirdest shape shifting cube, I don't like it.
  • My average solving time
    • Never solved it.
  • My personal best
    • Never solved it.
  • Fun
    • 2/10
    • A new puzzle is always fun, but I couldn't figure out this one.
  • Frustration
    • 8/10
    • I don't know how to hold or turn it. After few days I gave up on this one. Needed to phisically dissasble and reassemblt it piece by piece.

That's it ... a different post, just to show my cube collection.
