A few hours earlier...
After Aria managed to escape from the Zcashers' base of operations, the team was in shock after that incredible revelation. The idea that Aria was an artificial creation manipulated to serve Fiat and Nexus Corp. made them question the nature of their fight and the ethical implications of their own role in the conflict.
Before leaving in search of a new refuge, Zec took it upon himself to find Aria and free her from Fiat's control. He was confident that she was not the real threat, but a victim of Nexus Corp.'s perversions and should be treated with compassion and empathy.
The team came up with a plan to find Aria before she fell back into Fiat's hands and get her to safety. Eclipse would use her digital tracking abilities to locate her, while Blaze and Collier would work on creating a device that could override Nexus' control over her.
Meanwhile, Specter and Phoenix would search for a safe place to set up their new base of operations. They knew that their current lair was compromised and they needed a hideout where they could fortify themselves and prepare for any Fiat attack.
