I am a university professor from Venezuela, a beautiful Caribbean country but plunged in constant crisis because of its rulers.

I have more than 30 years of teaching experience in secondary and higher education. Through my hands and eyes have passed no less than 1500 students, of different ages, races and socioeconomic levels, but with something in common: many dreams of an uncertain future in their country.

I specialize in the humanities (Spanish and literature and Venezuelan history), but I am an educator aware of the importance of science and technology. In the last 7 years I have taught computers and systems in schools and high schools in the city of Caracas, where I live.

I am also curious about technology and cryptocurrencies, which I have been using since 2020. The pandemic forced me, like many Venezuelans and fellow educators, to reinvent ourselves and do everything to survive.

Currently I teach computer science to high school students, and I am a thesis tutor at the UCV, one of the most prestigious universities in my country, but one of the most affected by governmental neglect.

On weekends I give private math and computer classes at home. I also deliver food on a motorcycle lent to me by a neighbor.

In addition to operating systems, software, hardware and office automation, I teach my students about blockchain technology, wallets, NFTs and the many wonderful uses of DeFi.

I discovered Zcash thanks to the Telegram community and those who make life there and I was encouraged to create this campaign to ask for your help.

I need a car, no matter if it is used, to be able to fulfill my multiple jobs and continue teaching my classes. I don't want to work as a motorcyclist anymore, because I find it very unsafe and the motorcycle I use, as I said, is not mine.

With a car I will be able to travel from my home (in Guatire) to the university and the schools where I teach, as well as to my students' homes.

In Venezuela cars are very expensive and with my salary as a teacher it is impossible to afford to buy one, either new or used.

One of the cars I have seen that could be useful is this one: a Toyota Yaris, year 2007. Price $7900.
