Three wise men came from the east
bringing their hands full of precious, unique gifts:
gold, incense and myrrh.
Gold is wealth, like health, a blessed treasure.
Frankincense is mystery that ignites...
stoking the fire that spreads ashes everywhere
all because a king -in the blockchain- is born:
pure, clean and guarded by armored soldiers, shielded heart.
Myrrh is, by Divine belief, bliss, stamina, flesh, laughter.

It's being a long time since I dropped somenting poetic and inspirational... But a new year has begun for a whole cycle with 365 renew balance (already running) of oportunities.
Honoring this brandly new begining, I want to tell you about a date which means the end of the Christmas season. So, feel at ease and just enjoy reading.
The three wise men (or magi according to Gospel of Mathew) is a traditional date Christmas season ends with.
Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar have been in childhood throu the letter written expressing a particular special wish, or in that pair of shoes it’s placed under every kid’s bed [Ven.] or in the Christmas socks hanged on the chimney.
In Europe, in countries like Italy, there’s la Befana, an old lady who -one night- decided to follow the three wise men after they were at her house but were not welcomed with kindness. This character let beaitiful presents to those children who were good and coal (made of sugar) for those who were not well-behaved…
But, what would you think if I told you these three kings (references say they really were astroloigists) are in Zcash ecosistem the whole year? Yes! Every zcasher has their magic aroud.

The Wise men of the blockchain.
Just like those three wise men who came from the east under the guide light of a star, it can be said… Zcash has a triad that shapes its core and supports this project we are part of. A leading road started by Zooko Wilcox and a group of developers and cryptographers, and nowadays, Josh Swihart continues to walk through.
Let’s see how this biblical trio is found in and related to Zcash…
- Zcash protocol [Melchior] According to the 3 wise men story, Melchior is the first, leading the way. His offering is GOLD, representing wealth…
In Zcash, its protocol is gold… Because without a good secure funcioning protocol there’s no any aurinero paradise. For me is clearly present in the logo (yellow and black). Just as BTC, Zcash is mined as gold (PoW), because it protects a whole solid and secure system that makes possible the existence of the ZEC as a privacy asset for financial transactions.

When I read this line from Josh on social media, I fanta my article at Zcash en español. Why, because this is exactly what Zcash holds inside. How can this be seen in the ecosystem? I'l tell you about as follows:
- Zcash wallets [Caspar] Caspar is the second name of this triad, and as a gift holds frankincense, a pure state of incense which when burnt, produces a deep aromatic scent.
How is this linked to zcash? Easy… it’s a clean, pure version of the genesis coin: Bitcoin So, every wallet in the ecosystem, with different addresses and privacy levels keeps that pureness [ZEC] safe and at hand for each of us, thanks to the zk-Snarks, making private shielded anonymous transactions.
- Zcash Community [Balthazar] The third of the magi presented myrrh as a gift to the new king born. This fragant resin symbolizes the humanization of God in Earth.
In Zcash, this humanization is faithfully represented by the entire community. Its members pump that enthusiasm every project needs; regardless of the niche. It's that vibrant voice which promotes, drives adption and use of ZEC. A global community led by, of couse, a group of nine ambassadors.
