Greetings! Im here again to tell you the good news!
After receiving help from many people I have managed to complete the cost of the medication and now I can tell you that I have officially completed the cycle of treatment, however, I must perform a series of tests, some are special and are done only outside the city where I live and is quite remote.
Once I get these studies done I will be able to know if the treatment has indeed given the desired result and will allow me to move forward, then I will be able to know if after 3 long years "I AM HEALTHY".

Thanks to God and the collaboration of many people in Zcash, I was able to raise 30% of the amount needed to complete well and on time my treatment for breast cancer and the pending study; without your help this might not have been possible.
Now I am in the process of Remission and the next step is a surgery (hysterectomy) which is a preventive procedure to reduce the risk of ovarian cancer because due to the treatments my endometrium has thickened a little, I have genes that increase the risk, strong family history apart from having gone through a triple positive breast cancer.
This intervention is not mandatory but to avoid future problems it is best to do it on time.
In conversation with my Oncologist we have defined to start preparing for mid January.
Soon I will make a new update with the necessary documents to support what I am now uploading to this platform.

Every 6 months I have to do routine tests to discard that the cancer has migrated to another part of the body, even if I no longer have a tumor in my body, the cancer cells can develop a mass in another part. This time I have come before this great community to accompany me in one of the most difficult moments that I have had to face in my life but first I would like to tell you who I am.
Who I'M?
My name is Almeryz Lugo, I am Venezuelan, I am 37 years old, I am the mother of 4 children and they are my reason for living. A 3 year old boy, a 7 year old girl and 15 year old twins ♥
In May 2020 I was diagnosed with an infiltrating ductal adenocarcinoma grade 3 (breast cancer), at that time and at present cancer medications are difficult to access for people of low income, with the help of my sisters we put together a campaign which gave positive results and allowed me to immediately start the first cycle of chemotherapy. The first protocol of 4 cycles was with Doxorubicin and Cyclophosphamide, after this and verified that the 7cmts tumor had reduced I was indicated surgery.
Initial IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL study. Biopsy results (tissue study)
On September 4th of the same year I had a Partial Mastectomy where the extracted tissue was studied in more depth and it was determined that it presented a protein called HER2+ being a TRIPLE POSITIVE Cancer. Eight ganglions were extracted and two of them were contaminated, so I had to go through a second chemotherapy process of 4 more doses but changing the medicine for Docetaxel.
After this I had to move to a city 6 hours away from where I live to receive 30 sessions of radiotherapy, it was a very painful process that left me with 1st degree burns in the whole breast area and part of the forearm.
What do I need?
After recovering from the radiotherapy, it is necessary to start a protocol with a medicine called TRASTUZUMAB which prevents the development of cancer cells by HER2+.
I was prescribed 18 doses every 21 days. At the end of this treatment I must have my control exams (Complete Hematology, Ca-15.3, Chest X-Ray, Profile 20, Bone Scan, etc) to determine if I will not require any other treatment.
Today, in order to finish my ontological treatment, I only have 1 dose left, which I have not been able to raise the total amount to buy it. In addition to this, I must have an additional amount to carry out the medical controls that will determine if it is no longer necessary to induce me to another treatment.
Evidence of diagnoses, treatments and tests performed
Here in Venezuela everything is very expensive and I have been struggling to keep up with this last medicine which has a cost of 800 USD in popular pharmacies but a much higher price in private pharmacies (DONE, Thanks).
I come from a family with limited resources and since these costs are too high it's been difficult to afford this treatment.

Gracias a Dios y a la colaboración de muchos dentro de Zcash, logré recaudar el 30% del monto necesitado para culminar con bien y a tiempo mi tratamiento contra el Cáncer de Mama y el estudio pendiente; sin ayuda de ustedes quizás esto no hubiese sido posible.
Ahora me encuentro en proceso de Remisión y el siguiente paso es una cirugía (histerectomía) la cual es un procedimiento preventivo para reducir el riesgo de un cáncer de ovario ya que debido a los tratamientos mi endometrio a engrosado un poco, tengo genes que aumentan el riesgo, fuertes antecedente familiares aparte de haber pasado por un Cáncer de Mama triple positivo.
Esta intervención no es obligatoria pero para evitar problemas futuros lo mejor es realizarla a tiempo.
En conversación con mi Oncólogo hemos definido comenzar a prepararme para mediados de Enero.

Esta ocasión he venido ante esta gran comunidad para que me acompañen en uno de los momentos mas dificiles que me ha tocado afrontar en mi vida pero primero me gustaria contarles quien soy.
¿Quien soy?
Mi nombre es Almeryz Lugo, soy venezolana, tengo 37 años, soy mami de 4 niños y son mi razón de ser. Un varoncito de 3 años, una niña de 7 y unos mellizos de 15 años ♥
En Mayo del 2020 fui diagnosticada con un Adenocarcinoma Ductal infiltrante Grado 3 (cancer de seno), en ese momento y en este presente los medicamentos oncológicos son de difícil acceso para personas de bajos recursos, con ayuda de mis hermanas armamos una campaña la cual dió resultados positivos y me permitió comenzar inmediatamente con el primer ciclo de quimioterapia. El primer protocolo de 4 ciclos fue con Doxorrubicina y Ciclofosfamida, luego de esto ya verificado que el tumor de 7cmts había reducido me indicaron cirugía.

El 04 de septiembre de ese mismo año me fue realizada una Mastectomía Parcial en donde el tejido extraído fue estudiado más a fondo determinando que presentaba una proteína llamada HER2+ siendo este un Cáncer TRIPLE POSITIVO. Fueron extraídos 8 ganglios estando 2 de estos contaminados, por lo cual debí pasar por un segundo proceso de quimioterapia de 4 ampollas más pero cambiando el medicamento por Docetaxel.
Seguido a esto debí trasladarme a una ciudad a 6 horas de dónde vivo para realizarme 30 sesiones de Radioterapia, fue un proceso muy doloroso que me dejó quemaduras de 1er grado en toda la zona del seno y parte del antebrazo.
¿Que necesito?
Después de recuperarme de la Radioterapia, es necesario comenzar un protocolo con un medicamento llamado TRASTUZUMAB el cual evita el desarrollo de células cancerigenas por el HER2+
Me fue indicado 18 ampollas cada 21 días. Al culminar ese tratamiento debo hacerme mis exámenes de control (Hematología Completa, Ca-15.3, RX de tórax, Perfil 20, Ganmagrama Óseo, etc) para determinar si ya no requerire ningún otro tratamiento.
Hoy en día para culminar mi tratamiento oncologico solo me separa 1 ampolla, la cual no ha sido posible recaudar la totalidad del monto para poder comprarla. Aunado a ello debo tener un adicional para realizar los controles médicos que determinaran si ya no es necesario inducirme a otro tratamiento.
