Hello, my name is Abdu , and I am from Darfur
My family( dad, mom, sister(with her two sons), and my three younger brothers (ages 11, 13, and 15) are trapped in Darfur.
Atrocities and ethnic targeted killings are are happening every day. My family are exposed to daily harassment and threats from RSF and living in indescribable horror and fear. Every time I call them my heart beats when I can’t reach them out, and if they answer I panic to receive bad news, but it is the reality, at every call, I learn that one of our neighbors or relative has been killed. I am very worried for their safety.
Also, my mother suffers from chronic diseases: diabetes and hypertension. In a region where there's no fully functioning and operating hospital, medicine is scarce & expensive, her life is at extreme risk if we cannot evacuate her quickly.
My goal is to evacuate my family to Uganda, where they can finally live in safety and access basic healthcare.Every day we live in fear and suffering… We try to hold on to hope, but life has become harder than any child should ever have to bear.I ask you from the depths of my heart to help me save my family and take them to a safe haven Any donation, no matter how small, can make a big difference in our lives. Olá, meu nome é Abdu e sou de Darfur. Minha família (meu pai, minha mãe, minha irmã — com seus dois filhos — e meus três irmãos mais novos, de 11, 13 e 15 anos) está presa em Darfur. Atrocidades e assassinatos étnicos direcionados acontecem todos os dias. Minha família é exposta a assédio e ameaças diárias por parte das RSF e vive em um medo e horror indescritíveis. Toda vez que ligo para eles, meu coração dispara quando não consigo contato, e, quando atendem, entro em pânico temendo receber más notícias — e essa é a realidade. A cada ligação, fico sabendo que algum de nossos vizinhos ou parentes foi morto. Estou muito preocupado com a segurança deles. Além disso, minha mãe sofre de doenças crônicas: diabetes e hipertensão. Em uma região onde não há hospital plenamente funcional e onde os medicamentos são escassos e caros, a vida dela está em risco extremo se não conseguirmos evacuá-la rapidamente.
